Trends in Jewelry store design are always evolving, keep these in mind when you're ready to give your store a new look.

It's been two years since Covid-19 hit, and now that we're finally turning the corner (hopefully) here we are, we live in a different world indeed, and as always, change is the only constant. This is true for us in the retail Industry, customer behaviors have shifted and with that, our view of how retail environments need to evolve to adapt to those changes, and this is what we're seeing in the retail industry at the moment, now, let's review four of the hottest retail jewelry design trends we'll be seeing in 2022.

1. Think Local

This is one of the most interesting trends we've seen, think about the people who are attracted to your brand, what values and interests are important for them, and then go ahead and create a space following those guidelines. gone are the days of designing copy paste stores. There's a lot of growth behind social selling and making your store a hub for the community rather than just a transactional place.

This could be perhaps hosting events, creating an atmosphere for clients to mingle and talk to each other, and coming up with selling spaces where your employees can interact with customers while they look at a nice piece of jewelry together.

2. Is Your Store Instagrammable?

Particularly for a younger audience, this is something that will drive them to visit your store, unique store design that incorporates elements worthy of a selfie is something every jeweler should be thinking about. This will not only help your store traffic, it will also do wonders for brand awareness.

Having a consistent presence online is such an important part of your business that cannot be overlooked. Just as having a physical presence is just as crucial, research shows that a new store can drive traffic to a retailer's website by 37 percent.

According to IBM’s report, nearly 3 in 4 consumers still rely on in-person shopping as part of their primary buying method. Additionally, new research from Forrester predicts that in 2024, 72% of U.S. retail sales will still occur in brick-and-mortar stores.

3. Curved Showcases are IN

This trend has been talked about in length by Interior Designer Leslie McGwire, whom we've worked closely over the years in multiple projects, "curved interior design can not only increase sales, but is a popular modern trend in jewelry stores that gives an upscale feel to the store. Think about sleek silhouettes and organically inspired shapes that embrace softness" Leslie Explains.

The versatility of curved furnishings is very appealing. It can be custom made to fit your store's needs. Curved designs can fit any style, such as traditional, contemporary, modern, rustic and transitional. Overall, curved jewelry cases give a luxurious feel.

4. Make them feel at "home"

incorporate elements such as hardwood floors to your store, a well placed lounge room, or how about a bar! providing customers with a warm and homey atmosphere will make them feel more at ease, hang out at your store longer and with that feeling of relaxation they are more likely to shop at your store.

Also, try to introduce natural lighting and use paint with warm tones to produce that cozy effect, decorating your space with plants work great as well.
